nine is an European-wide Internet Exchange point and L2 fabric. We cover England, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands and Switzerland regions with our n x 400G backbone. You can exchange packets with all the peers everywhere at no extra transport cost.
We established this exchange point to support the increase in European IP traffic at a fair, transparent, straightforward and sustainable cost.

so we made it.
nine is owned and operated by a dedicated French company, operating under the EU regulations. The transport is secured through many routes. nine is just another peering point, and yet,
it’s very different.
You can use your nine ports to route anything that’s IP, really : the same port can be used at the same time as public or private peering, L2L thanks to our MPLS-SR transport technology...
No, it doesn’t run Doom.

We provide the maximum possible level of traffic insights: port traffic, VLAN traffic and inter-AS peering traffic.
You can exchange data with every nine member, with up to 128 circuits per port, at no extra cost and autonomously through our portal. Each circuit can carry VLANs, VXLANs, QinQ, MPLS, or any type of ethernet flux you need to transport.
You will soon be able to reach easily the biggest Cloud Providers private networks though nine (Alibaba, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, OVH, ...)

With any port on the platform, you get access to VLAN 9 — our Europe-wide peering LAN, included at no extra cost. One single LAN to peer with the entire nine network, from Amsterdam to Marseille or Bordeaux to Zurich.
Peer locally with sub-4ms latency. VLAN 6 gives you a dedicated peering LAN for your city, included at no extra cost with any port. Stay close to your local peers, keep your packets short.
the nine network spans across Europe, allowing you to reach all the peers without restriction - unless you prefer to put some on the peering using our provided communities.
The Ethernet circuits span too between peers, or even between two of your own ports!
We provide you with the lowest latency possible at any given time. If we have a fibercut on one n x 400G segment, your packets are going to take the next fastest route.
We implement all the following features to ensure the best possible protection for our peers : blackhole, MAC filtering, RPKI, IRR route filtering, IP antispoof.
You can transport your packets up to 9 150 of MTU, to ensure the compatibility of nine transport with any of your IGPs.
nine runs on a SR-MPLS platform, and allows the most advanced uses. We work hard to add more features continuously.

You can sell your services to all the nine members, from and to every nine location. Remote peering, servers, connectivity, fibers, hosting, VoIP, the only limit is your imagination.
We chose to have a very simple approach for our marketplace, you have all the information you need at the same place, and you can easily compare.
nine is not billing anything, the marketplace is just a way to generate business between our clients. We don't want to know what you trade, technically speaking, for us it’s just another Ethernet circuit.
